- SHORT DESCRIPTION: A software package that allows users to easily set
- up calculations and what-if analysis in a freestyle, user defined
- format.
-
- DESCRIPTION: FREE & EASY is designed to make your calculations and
- what-if analysis easy to set up and easy to follow. You are not forced
- into a grid of rows and columns as in a spredsheet. Instead you use a
- freestyle, user defined structure. Start with a blank sheet, then add
- cells (similiar to cells in a spreadsheet), descriptive text,
- variables and ranges on the sheet wherever suits you. It is you who
- define the structure of the sheet.
-
- Over 200 on-line context sensitive and hyperlinked help topics are
- availiable within the FREE & EASY environment. The FREE & EASY package
- comes with tutorials and Instruction Book- both of which can be
- accesed inside or outside the FREE & EASY environment. These features,
- along with the freestyle design of FREE & EASY make learning fast and
- easy.
-
- The user can set how FREE & EASY does calculations. Several sheets and
- windows can be opened at one time. "Make" files can be saved so FREE &
- EASY can remember where you left off in your last session. All common
- editing features (search and replace, cut and paste) are included. A
- DOS shell and screen blanker as well as several sample sheets showing
- various applications are also included. Registered users receive a
- FREE & EASY newsletter periodically containing sample applications,
- author feedback, users letters, questions and answers.

- KEYWORDS: Spreadsheet, Analysis, Cells, Math, Calculator, Finance,
- Statistics, What-if

- The files which make up FREE & EASY may come to you in the form of two

- text file README.TXT gives details on how to extract these. You may
- distribute the self extracting files or the files as described below.
- If you extract the files and distribute them as such, they may be
- placed on four 360 K disks, two 720 K disks, one 1.2 M disk or one 1.4
- M disk. If you do please refer to the file README.EXE to see which
- files go in which disks (so the SETUP.EXE program will work). If you
- wish you may place all the files in one self extracting file (please
- call it FE.EXE) and distribute this.
-
- If you wish contact Free & Easy Software and we can supply disks for
- you in any of these formats.
